Progress Report for the New York State Pavilion Paint Project
http://www.nyspproject.org  July 2017

We are all very excited to close out 2016 with continued great promise towards the future of the pavilion.

Our latest Open Gate event on June 11th in conjunction with NYC Parks went well once again!  The Only In Queens Festival. The weather was beautiful and over 200 people visited the pavilion in four hours!

We also provided a tour of the park for Disney D23 NYC fan club on June 10th. We toured the original sites where GE's Carousel of Progress and Pepsi Cola's It's a Small World once stood, They thoroughly enjoyed the knowledge we shared!

Our work continues. We will carry on our quest to preserve the pavilion. This season we will be touching up and repairing painted areas including the application of matching American Cheese yellow paint. We hope you get to visit the park and see the pavilion close up!
