People for the Pavilion Night at Citi Field August 1, 2014- Thank you PFP!

"Thanks to everyone who came out to the Mets game on Friday night! Thanks to the generosity of the Mets and all of you, People for the Pavilion was able to raise critical operational funding that will allow us to continue our work raising awareness about the New York State Pavilion. The People for the Pavilion/Mets t-shirts proved to be a hit with fans of all ages, and is sure to remain a collector's item for years to come.

With partners from the New York Landmarks Conservancy and the National Trust for Historic Preservation in attendance, PFP was provided with the opportunity to recognize a few individuals for their continued commitment to the preservation of the Pavilion. This included Mitch Silverstein and John Piro of the New York State Pavilion Paint Project, architect Frankie Campione, and late PFP Co-founder Christian Doran, whose parents, Stephen and Cindy, accepted the award on his behalf.

These individuals have all worked tirelessly to keep the Pavilion alive both in its physical form, and for keeping the vision for its future alive. The Pavilion would not be where it is today without their hard work."
